Rebekah Laur’en is a singer, songwriter, composer, and producer from VA. Shortly after training in Opera, Rebekah would pivot from opera for another musical journey. She continued creating original music with a unique sound and style placement of an alternative R&B artist. Laur’en hopes to candidly capture hearts and translate music into healing for listeners.

Rebekah Laur’en recently performed on the Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center and in the spring she will be releasing her first music video for her song “Used To”. This song and video is also connected to a bigger project that is set to release this summer titled “Late Summer Nights”. You can hear the song “Used To” on all streaming sites.

My success story is still being written but I will say this, seeing where I’ve been, where I am currently and where I am going is the result of pure consistency, persistence, humility, patience and faith. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rebuilt myself after knock down after knock down. It has not been an easy journey but I’ve recently come to see why things happened exactly the way they’ve happened and continue to. I’ve learned to truly trust the process even when it doesn’t make sense to me at times. It all truly works out for you when you believe and focus on the bigger picture.
