1. Hometown? I was born in Houston TX, but my mom and I moved to Austin when I was 2 or 3. I spent most of my primary years in Austin, but my mom and I moved around a lot as well. So I’ve lived all over Texas (Houston, Austin, Odessa, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and currently Dallas). I’ve also lived in Sacramento CA, San Francisco CA, and Worcester MA.

2. Town Residing In? I currently live in Dallas TX, and have lived up here since July 2022.

3. Where It Started (Inspirations)? My love with Hip-Hop came real early. My mom used to take me to see B-Boy shows when I was like 5 or 6. My grandma put me in guitar and piano lessons around this time as well, and I learned how to play instruments and read sheet music. Later I learned to play the drums, and played music all through high school. I wrote my first rap around 14-15, and have been at it ever since.

4. Musical Influences? Ice Cube was the person who influenced me to start trying to write raps. Other influences would be UGK, 8ball & MJG, Jay-Z, Eminem, and Ludacris.

5. How did you get your name CasinoATX? My original stage name was just Casino. I went by that up until 2013. Around that time Futures brother got big and he went by Casino as well. So I updated all of my social media to say CasinoATX to make it easier to find me online. From there it just kinda morphed into my full stage name. I was known as Casino originally though, cause I was a known gambler, hustler, and player. The name fit my personality, and I ran with it.
